Sample Rules and Guidelines
  1. Eligibility: The quiz is open to all Bhutani citizens aged 18 years and above having a valid identity proof and email ID.
  2. Registration: The registration of the quiz will remain open from [Start Date] to [End Date].
  3. Duration: The quiz will be conducted from [Start Date] to [End Date].
  4. Languages: The quiz is available in English and Dzongkha languages.
  5. Access: Participants can access the quiz only through the designated official website.
  6. Format: The quiz consists of 75 multiple-choice questions, each with a single correct answer.
  7. Time Limit: Participants must complete the quiz within 60 minutes.
  8. Scoring & Speed: The quiz is time-based. Faster completion increases the chances of winning.
  9. Tiebreaker: In case of a tie, the participant who completes the quiz in the shortest time will be declared the winner.
  10. Negative Marking: A penalty of one-third of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  11. Start Mechanism: The quiz will begin as soon as the participant clicks the “Start Quiz” button.
  12. Submission Rules: Participants should not refresh the page during the quiz and must submit their answers to register their entry.
  13. Registration Details: Participants must provide their name, email address, mobile number, and other required details. By submitting this information, participants consent to the Election Commission of Bhutan using it for quiz facilitation, including verification purposes.
  14. Single Attempt: Each participant is allowed only one attempt; multiple attempts are not permitted.
  15. Unique Email Policy: The same email address cannot be used more than once for participation.
  16. Participation Certificate: Upon successful completion, participants can auto-download a digital participation certificate.
  17. Final Round: The top 20 scorers, one from each district, will qualify for the virtual finale.
  18. Winners & Prizes: From the finalists, the top three performers will be selected and awarded prizes.
  19. Disqualification: The quiz organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant found guilty of misconduct or unfair practices.
  20. Final Decision: Election Commission of Bhutan’s decision regarding the quiz results shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
  21. Compliance: Participants must adhere to all quiz terms and conditions, including any amendments or updates.
  22. Ineligibility: Employees of the Election Commission of Bhutan and their relatives are not eligible to participate.
  23. Quiz Modifications: Organizers reserve the right to modify or discontinue the quiz due to unforeseen circumstances, including changes to the terms, conditions, or evaluation criteria. Any updates will be posted on the official platform.
  24. Amendments: The quiz organizers may cancel or revise any part of the quiz, including its terms and conditions, technical parameters, or evaluation criteria, if necessary.
